HONG KONG Holiday Inn Golden Mile
Everyone slept fairly well last night except Ashton coughed during the night which stirred Charli. They both went off to bed but i think Charli could have done with that extra bit of sleep.
Again we had breakfast at the hotel at then caught the MTR to go on the Ngong Ping 360. Its a cable car that goes for 5.7km up to a temple. Everyone was interested to do it but when we finally got to the station, and walked there we found it was shut down for maintenance. There was an Outlet Mall nearby so we had a look there. While there wasn't much of interest, there was a Nike Outlet so i was able to pickup a few T-Shirts. We headed back to the MTR and got on the train to come back towards the hotel.

As we were on our way Kobe fell asleep on the train sitting next to me. Instead of going home we headed to the Peak which is a tram that goes up the mountain. The thinking was we could carry him off the train and sit down and he could sleep like that for a while before we went on the tram. We got him off the train, up several flights of stairs, but there were no seats. We took one of the exits and made our way to the mall but he awoke just as we were entering. Ashton was still asleep at this point and he needed to sleep too.

We had arrived at Central station on Hong Kong Island so had a quick lunch, and then made the 500m or so walk to the Peak tram station. It was uphill and everyone was tired and hot. Normally Ashton would be asleep by this point but he was too hot and sweaty and uncomfortable so was still awake. We got to the Peak and the line was huge. We were there, so there was no turning back. It was steaming hot and just as we got close to the ticketing counter (45 minute wait approximately) Ashton finally fell asleep. He was a ball of sweat. We entered the waiting area which was slightly cooler and then had to get on the tram, which required the stroller to be folded down. I took Ashton out and put him on my shoulder. Ashton Kobe and I got on the next tram, but Renee and Charli didn't. They squeezed us in there and with the heat of having Ashton on me, i could feel the sweat running down from his face onto mine. He stayed asleep for the trip up and once out of the tram could hold him more like a new born so his head was resting on my arms. We were both a bit more comfortable like this. After another 10 minutes Renee and Charli were up with us and Ashton could finally go back in the Stroller.

| Nearly on the Cable car...... |
We looked around the Peak and went on to the Sky Terrace to better see the view. I dont think Kobe and Charli really appreciate the views but did enjoy seeing that they could take photos with, a 2015 sign. We eventually left there, made our way back down the mountain, caught the MTR back to the hotel.

We were back to the hotel at a decent time so we decided to have a swim. Charli and Kobe had basic kids cameras but they were waterproof and shockproof so we decided to have a play with those in the pool. After the swim we had to work out what to do. We wanted to see the Temple Night Markets and as there wasn't too much walking in that decided to do that. We caught the MTR again and walked through the markets. Everybodies legs were tired so we came back to work out something to do for a late tea. We debated going somewhere, but decided to do something we had never ever done before. We came back to our room, sat and relaxed and ordered room service. While i never like room service when you are somewhere, it was exactly what the kids needed. To relax, have a play on their tablets, and eat something.

Most days and holidays are planned around things for them. Today was a day were they dont really appreciate the things we had planned so was a long day for them. We won't be having another day with as much walking in the heat like today, except for maybe Disneyland but i dont think we will get many complaints that day.
