Day 5 - Tue 22 Sep 2015

HONG KONG Holiday Inn Golden Mile

Today was Disneyland day. Kobe awoke fairly early. Approximately 6:30am. Charli awoke at 7 and Ashton not long after that. Early breakfast and we were out the door by about 9am. Got the MTR to the Disney transfer station and then got onto the Disney train. The windows were the shape of Mickey Mouse, and even the hanging things to hold onto when there are no seats were Mickey Mouse shaped. We arrived about 9:45 and bought our tickets and joined the line to get into the park. At 10am the park opened.

It was a long hot day. The previous day it was raining in the morning and we decided to leave it till today. Today was pretty much the only day while we have been in Hong Kong where the sun was out. It was hot. Very hot. We have been to a couple of different Disney parks and the one awesome thing about this one, was the fact there were practically no lines. By the days end Charli had been on Space Mountain 4 times (Kobe went once, said he liked it but didn't want to go again), Rustic Blah 3 times, Toy Story Astroblasters at least 4 times, Its a small World twice. That last ride Ashton loved. He just sat there looking around and listening to the music on the ride. It was great walking straight to the front on all these rides knowing in California and Orlando we were waiting ages to get on. On any of the trips to Space Mountain, there were no more than 10 people in front of us when we got into the line. The time out the front for waiting time on the ride never changed from anything other than 5 minutes, the lowest it can go. We walked and walked through the day and everyone was tired. I think we broke Kobe. He were deciding whether to stay for the fireworks, and while we really wanted to, the kids just wouldn't have survived the late night. We left and Kobe fell asleep on the train. In the end we put him in the stroller and Ashton got out. We got back to the hotel and transferred him into bed and he slept. Charli was tired and a bit emotional too so it was a good thing we left early. Although, we did mention next time we at Disneyland park we would stay for the fireworks. Tomorrow we are off to Macau.

Everything paid for at Disneyland went straight onto the card. We didn't pay for anything with cash. In total, there were 9 transactions onto the plastic from tickets for entry, to food, merchandise, to water.
