Day 11 - Mon 28 Sep 2015
SINGAPORE Legoland Legoland
We checked out early in the morning as we had tickets to get a bus from Singapore Flyer, to Legoland which is just across the border in Malaysia. We and the Marders had all bought tickets for the same bus. As we arrived at the bus station, they message to say that had been put on a bus and it had already left. They just load people on the buses as soon as they arrive and don't pay a great deal of attention to times. We got on the next bus. THe bus ride itself should take 1 hour, and this was one of the most painful buses or travel experiences we had, including the flights. The bus travels and then you have to get off the bus and line up to exit Singapore. Once you have done this, we got back on the bus and drove across a bridge, and then had to get off the bus with all our luggage and enter Malaysia. It was a painful bus ride.
We arrived about 11am, and checked into our hotel room in Legoland. With the hotel room were tickets for the theme parks. Pay 1 day, get a 2 day ticket. So we checked into our room and then went straight to the Legoland Waterpark. We spent the day in the water park, and then went to the Legoland Hotel buffet restaurant for tea. Everyone had a great day. I wasn't sure how popular the waterpark would be with the kids, but everyone had a ball with all the waterslides.
Some of the waterslides closed early during the day due to the haze and poor visibility. It wasn't safe to have the rides open as from the top they couldn't clearly see the bottom of the slides.
